Sonoran Deer Hunting
Rancho El Bajio
Banamichi, Mexico

Northern Sonora is renowned for its big game and especially white tail and mule deer. Fifth generation rancher, Francisco Maldonado has 10,000 acres of prime deer habitat. Francisco and his vaqueros work year round to maintain the environment to ensure that trophy quality animals are available. Francisco speaks both English and Spanish, and has years of experience guiding and hunting in this area.

Many people feel that it is difficult to hunt in Sonora because of the permits and other paperwork. Francisco knows the procedures and will get you through the paperwork maze quickly and without problems.

Trophy Deer
El Bajio is fortunate to have been owned by ranchers with foresight and vision. The construction of several dams on the property has enabled the ranch to continue operations through drought years and flourish when the rains are plentiful. The ample water supply also attracts deer and other wild life to the ranch. The year round supply of water maintains a sizable whitetail population. El Bajio is also a working Sonoran cattle ranch. During your stay at the ranch, you will sleep in the ranch house and eat in the ranch kitchen. Contact El Rancho El Bajio and reserve your guided hunting adventure for Sonora biggame hunting. The Deer Season runs from early December to the first week of February. Trips are scheduled for one full week.
